THE Birthday

10th October, 2011. THE third birthday. It was THE birthday since we were able to celebrate for the first time. Although you were still recovering from pneumonia and till late saturday night mumma and papa were delibrating whether we should have a party or not, we could celebrate a very nice fashion.

Here is all we did on THE birthday.

• Started from 12 midnight, everyone wished you birthday since you were awake.
• We had a nice drive on prakash mama's two wheeler, went to the doctor for a review and had a nice time in market.
• Kaku and Ajji made your favourite dish of Idli and Sambhar.
• Kaku made a very nice Rangoli especially for you where you had to sit and eat.
• After Lunch you slept for 3 hours and got up fresh all ready for the party and got into your New dress which you yourself selected and had a bit of makeup from Mumma.
• Kaku Ajji, Atya, Mumma everyone did Aarti for you and then we all went to banquet.
• Papa had made arrangments for a very nice decoration, tatoo artist and lot of games for you as well as all the adult guests also.
• You then cut you Doremon cake.
• Everyone including you then danced a lot.
• After the party, it was all about a the gift opening and you received 2 very nice dolls, one of them is your BETA now.

Everyone will remember your birthday party for a long time.

Not So Good Firsts

First Time Hospitalization on account of Pneumonia.
You have been brave for the past three days being playfull whenver the fever was down and generally getting better.
Today, though you slept throught the day you had fever in the afternoon and doctor decided to keep you in observation for two days.

I have no words to explain the misery of looking at a small hand with so many bandages to hold the IV.
And today I am remembering your nani like never before.

The First Good Byes

Your First School was Medhham which you joined when you were 22 months old.
You had to leave that school in a hurry since muma took you to Mumbai.

So, one day we especially went back to Medhaam for saying good byes.

Unanswered Questions?

Why is Mumma not there everyday?
Why is Papa visting me once in a while?
Why are all of us struggling like this?
Why is Mumma so grumpy since we have come to Mumbai?

To all this I have answers and justifications which I know you will not be able to understand right now, but I am very hopeful that one day you will.

Mumma Cooking

This Ganesh Chaturthi, God wanted Mumma to cook so Kaku was not allowed in kitchen at all and all the Naivedya was cooked by Mumma.

Last item on the menu was chakli and as a gift on occassion of Ganpati festival, you and Aarush Dada got chakli in shape of your initials.

Though cooking isnt my hobby, I love cooking for you Princess!

I am blessed

After 12 days Papa was leaving for Delhi and I was also suppose to get back to hotel. I told you this only once and asked you to be a good girl and not cry at all. You understood and told me very sweetly " Me nai radnaar", Main nahi rota hoon".

your understanding attitude made me feel blessed and at the same time very sad also.
Time will tell us Princess what are we going to achieve from this...

Yesterday, you came to meet me in my hotel for the first time..

Excited to be at "mumma's home" the first thing you noticed was a full length mirror and the second was..

" mumma - kitchen kahan hai?"
