Mumma Cooking

This Ganesh Chaturthi, God wanted Mumma to cook so Kaku was not allowed in kitchen at all and all the Naivedya was cooked by Mumma.

Last item on the menu was chakli and as a gift on occassion of Ganpati festival, you and Aarush Dada got chakli in shape of your initials.

I am blessed

After 12 days Papa was leaving for Delhi and I was also suppose to get back to hotel. I told you this only once and asked you to be a good girl and not cry at all. You understood and told me very sweetly " Me nai radnaar", Main nahi rota hoon".

your understanding attitude made me feel blessed and at the same time very sad also.
Time will tell us Princess what are we going to achieve from this...

Feminine Instinct

Yesterday, you came to meet me in my hotel for the first time..

Excited to be at "mumma's home" the first thing you noticed was a full length mirror and the second was..

" mumma - kitchen kahan hai?"

Consecutively second day we met and there were some highs and lows of the day..

You were in a very cranky and stubbourn mood for no good reason but you looked so preety and cute in that red polka dot frock that every time I tried scolding you, I landed up smiling.

I tried getting your attention to play with you but you were so busy fighting with Aarush dada that we just kept on running into troubles.

Later in the night you made me sit and you slept in my lap. I just loved the feeling and slept blissfully.

Morning you very nicely got ready, did morning prayer, had milk and everything was fine, till you again fought with Aarush dada and both of you used abusive words. I hit you. I had to Princess, I am very sorry for that but I was very upset that you could utter such uncouth words.

The whole day was spent thinking about you and mulling over the situation, whatever I am doing, is it really worth????

Only time will tell but for now little one, mumma is very guilty and sad....
I am sorry....

Jab We Met ........after a long time...

Meeting you after 12 very long days was like

" युग युग से प्यासी मरुभूमि ने  जैसे सावन का सन्देश पाया"

Since you have come to mumbai

You have picked up Marathi like a mumbaikar.

You are out of Diapers

You have started drinking milk from cup, bottle is out.

You can hold intelligent conversation..

You don't fight with Darsh any more.

You love to be with Aarush dada.

You have started resembling me more than ever.

last but not the least.. you have learnt to be without papa and me, yesterday after I told you our travel plans which unfortunately are seperate, you very nicely accepted and said "Thik hai". Morning you opened the door for me and said a nice bye bye..

Princess, I am blessed to have an understanding daughter like you.

Another Monsoon Masti

We had a nice picnic with my office friends.

Loh garh near Lonavala where we climbed the fort, saw monkies & fishes, got drenched in rain and waterfalls and above all had some good fun with my friends who were actually taking turns to pamper you and vying for your attention.

Unfortunately, cough and cold kept you from enjoying to the fullest, still you didn't disturb anyone or cried at all.
