a big wow and a long ooooooooooooo

My princess is learning to talk and along with a rich vocab she also has her share of expressions.
The other day we went to a newly opened supermart and geet enjoyed a lot. While coming back she told us she still wants to go to a mall. May be her idea of mall was not completed since there were no escalators to take a joy ride on.
She told her father " mujhe moon jana hai" we said we just came back from there only. we were on the ground floor , where were you? she thought for a while and said "OOOOOOOOOO app necchey they, main to upan thi..
the next was a big " Wow" on returning home the doting Ajji ( grandma) was ready with home made ladoos.
God Bless princess you really know how to make someone's day:)

Broken Promises....

I wanted to be regular in blogging here, so that I can keep a record of memory of the happiest days spent with Geet..........
But, when the time came to keep the memories or to enjoy and do things which infact make those memories, I choose the later one.....
Let us see how much can I keep up with this blogging when work is so lax....

the tough call and benefits of listening to one's heart.

I think I am the only mother rather the only working mother who has let her child get away from her for a reason other than work. For the benefit and happiness of my Mother - In-Law.
She was admant going to Bangalore and i could not have kept my child with me without compromising on her comforts and handing her to maid.

I listned to my heart and did what I thought was best for everyone's happiness. Though i missed my daughter badly but ultimately this has turnedout to be a win-win situation for everyone.
Benefits of this trip of my daughter with my MIL to Bng.
1. My daughter was in safe hands of my MIL no relying on servant.
2. MIL took a much overdue break and was happy to enjoy the new found freedom.
3. SIL adored the kid and taught her few very good dance moves and bhajans.
4. We got a good break as couple and enjoyed our second honeymoon in Nainital.
