First Accident

You, my princess, are a creative soul, a classical dancer and a chatter box:)
the best in everything you do.
What you are not ..is an active sports person.
So when I got the news that you fell down and have hurt your hand, my first thought was of  surprise instead of worry.

How can a kid who doesn't run around unnecessarily, fall down and got hurt badly.
Apparently an innocuous game of hide and seek and running to hide resulted in a fall on concrete and caused the hand to be slightly bent.

I had no idea how bad it was because I was out of town.

So I came to know the xray results on phone and it was confirmed to be a break and bend of bone.
I came back and next morning we had to get admitted to hospital for a procedure to straighten the bone.
The previous night became a nightmare not because it was hurting but because of anticipation of pain next morning :)

Next morning in hospital also the anticipation of pain was more than pain itself.
After the general anesthesia and small procedure in OT, when you were resting in Post Op area and slowly coming back to senses you uttered the first words which were music to my ears
"Mumma, I love you"
I was on seventh heaven and pleased that everything was fine.

You were brave enough to go to school the next day itself, with the intention of showing off the cast to your friends and have them write on it.

Bad - you were in a cast for 4.5 weeks and you missed your annual performance of Bharatnatyam

Good - we had so much fun getting the cast autographed by friends, having mumma to bathe you everyday and help with clothing

Best - We learnt that anticipation of pain is worse than pain itself.

Here is to Bring Brave and have fun in adversity
Cheers!!!

My Passion : DANCE

My dance academy's 5th annual day of Bharatnatyam and kuchipudi was on 10th Feb, 2019.
I feel good that since 5 years, I am dedicated to my passion, the dance.

My learning journey of dance started in 2014, with Bharatnatyam. Although Kuchipudi, I started, only in 2018. I have also enrolled in Mohini Attam dance form since few months.

I got a memento for completing 5 years of training in Bharatnatyam and I am feeling great about it.

I am very grateful to my dance teacher for teaching me dance so patiently and sweetly.
Also, thanks to my mother who supports me in getting dressed up for every performance.

In the last year, I performed in public forums also, like Jagriti theater, forum mall and Ayyapa temple.

This trophy is an achievement for me and I am more dedicated to my dance now.

Original Joke by Prashasti Geet

I had made a  joke once. I would like to tell them to you. They might not be as funny as the other jokes are, but I am sure they are funny enough.
  • DON'T POKE YOUR NOSES INTO OTHERS BUSINESSES: you shouldn't poke your noses into others businesses because if the business has a door and if you try your noses into others businesses then your nose will become flat. But if the business doesn't have a door then while you try to poke your noses into others business you will fall down.
I hope you enjoyed the joke.

The story of my SST teacher

my SST teacher is, how I feel, very unique. she repeats the same thing again and again and still scolds us for wasting the period.

Today she was scolding a boy for some reason for ten minutes repeating the same thing. And again at the end of the period she scolded us for wasting the period.

I think there are easier ways to scold the person like:
  • give them a simple punishment that they will follow without arguing.
  • write his/her parents a dairy note and ask him/her to bring the parents sign.
And we should also not give them a very bad punishment that they start crying.

I hope that in 6th grade we don't have the same SST teacher.(Even though it is not possible to have the same  teacher).
